Nairobi and Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, your guide will meet you as you prepare to journey southwards by road towards Amboseli National Park. Spanning 1,260 square miles, the park and its surrounding game reserve primarily consist of arid woodland, dotted with a network of swamps and lakes that offer a consistent water source for the wildlife. Amboseli is nestled in the shadow of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro and is renowned for its sizable elephant population and other prominent game species drawn to the area’s underground springs, sourced from the mountain.
Upon arrival at your chosen lodge or tented camp, you’ll be treated to a sumptuous lunch. Later in the afternoon, embark on a game drive to explore Amboseli’s renowned elephant herds and, if luck is on your side, capture stunning sunset photos with Kilimanjaro as a breathtaking backdrop. Amboseli to Nairobi
Following breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive, exploring the wildlife-rich landscapes of the Amboseli National Park. Depart from the Amboseli later in the morning, journeying towards Nairobi with a stop for lunch along the way.
Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where you have the option of being dropped off directly at the airport for your convenience. Reflect on your safari adventures as you travel back to Nairobi, taking in the sights and sounds of Kenya’s diverse landscapes one last time before your departure.
