Arrival in Tanzania
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport & transferred to your accommodation and take some time to rest and acclimate as well as meet your safari guide for a comprehensive briefing on the upcoming adventure.

Serengeti Via Olduvai Gorge
We’ll start the day with an early breakfast, preparing for an exciting day of exploration ahead! Our journey kicks off with a scenic drive towards the Serengeti. En route, we’ll traverse the misty rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Keep your eyes peeled, as you may spot cape buffalo, baboons, or even elephants and leopards hidden in the lush vegetation.
The drive to the Serengeti Park gates takes nearly four hours, but we’ll break up the journey with a stop at Olduvai Gorge. This Gorge, often referred to as the Cradle of Mankind, the Olduvai Gorge is renowned for preserving some of the oldest evidence of human habitation ever discovered. At the Olduvai Gorge Museum, you can explore this remarkable site and view some of the world’s oldest fossil evidence of human existence. Immerse yourself in the story of human evolution and enjoy the breathtaking views of this rugged gorge landscape.

North Serengeti
Following breakfast, you’ll embark on a journey to the northern Serengeti for a game drive along the Mara River. The timing of the spectacular Mara River crossings, where wildebeest and zebras brave Nile crocodiles and swift currents before encountering lions on the other side, varies depending on rainfall. These crossings can occur as early as June or as late as August. This period offers sensational, impressive, and dramatic game viewing experiences.

North Serengeti
Experience another day of thrilling morning and afternoon game drives in the North Serengeti along the Mara River. The river crossings, where thousands of wildebeest and zebra brave the treacherous waters, are truly one of the most breathtaking natural spectacles in Africa.

North to Central Serengeti
Start your day early with a morning game drive along the Mara River, where you’ll witness a remarkable sight: countless hoofed mammals in search of water and fresh grazing grounds, trailed by iconic predators.
This journey is fraught with danger, where only the fittest survive. Keep your eyes peeled for hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, and if luck is on your side, the endangered black rhino. In the afternoon, continue your wildlife viewing as you journey towards central Serengeti.

Departure
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before embarking on a morning game drive en route to the Seronera Airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. From Arusha, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your evening flight.
