Arrival in Tanzania
You will be greeted upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport and transferred to a nearby accommodation near Mikumi National Park for dinner and overnight stay. Enjoy a comfortable journey to the park, where you can relax and unwind after your travels, preparing for the exciting safari adventures that await you.

Udzungwa Mountain national Park
After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic one-hour drive to Udzungwa Mountain National Park, where lushly wooded slopes are home to a remarkable variety of plants and rare mammals and bird species. Enjoy a leisurely hike lasting between one to three hours, ascending towards the magnificent Sanje Waterfalls.
Here, you can relax and swim in the refreshing plunge pool of the waterfalls. Following your hike, a hot lunch will be served near the park gate. After lunch, take some time to relax before returning to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and an overnight, reflecting on the day’s memorable adventures in the heart of nature.

Mikumi National Park to Saadani National Park
Following an early breakfast, embark on a short 10-minute drive to the gate of Mikumi National Park. Complete the necessary gate formalities before commencing your safari adventure. As you venture into the park, keep your eyes peeled for a variety of wildlife, including large herds of antelopes, buffalo, elephants, and more, against the backdrop of the park’s picturesque landscapes.
Your game drive will continue until approximately 12:15 PM, at which point you will depart for Saadani National Park. Upon arrival, settle in at your accommodation, located along the beach, where you will enjoy a delightful dinner and overnight stay. Relax and unwind in this serene coastal setting, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Indian Ocean.

Saadani National Park to Dar es Salaam
Following breakfast, embark on a captivating game drive before proceeding to the boat for a scenic river cruise. This leisurely cruise allows you to explore the diverse wildlife and natural beauty along the riverbanks, including sightings of crocodiles, hippos, and various other animals in their natural habitat.
After the river cruise, continue your journey to Dar es Salaam via Bagamoyo. Enjoy a delicious lunch en route, and upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, our driver will transfer you directly to your hotel. Alternatively, opt to be transferred to the ferry terminal, where you can catch an evening boat to Zanzibar, beginning the next chapter of your East African adventure.
