Full Itinerary
Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park
driver-guide will collect you from your hotel to commence your safari adventure, after an early breakfast departing for a scenic journey to Nyerere National Park, the largest national park in Africa (approximately 5 hours’ drive). You will travel in your own private and exclusive 4×4 safari vehicle. Upon arrival at the park, indulge in a delightful lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. This excursion presents the chance to witness the park’s magnificent wildlife, including the Big Cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, along with rhinos, elephants, and wildebeest.

Nyerere National Park
You will enjoy full-day game drives, starting with one in the morning from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Since your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible, which is particularly useful if you are traveling with children or are on a honeymoon. After your adventurous day, return to your accommodation in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Nyerere National Park to Mikumi National Park
As the sun rises over Nyerere National Park, you embark on your last thrilling game drive, savouring the sights of wildlife and the park’s natural splendours. After this exciting adventure, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before setting off for Mikumi National Park. The journey takes you through picturesque landscapes, with a stop for lunch en route. By late afternoon, you arrive at Mikumi, where your lodge awaits. Relax and unwind, perhaps taking a swim, before dinner and settling in for the night, surrounded by the tranquillity of the park.

Udzungwa Mountain National Park
After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic one-hour drive to Udzungwa Mountain National Park, where lushly wooded slopes are home to a remarkable variety of plants and rare mammals and bird species. Enjoy a leisurely hike lasting between one to three hours, ascending towards the magnificent Sanje Waterfalls. Here, you can relax and swim in the refreshing plunge pool of the waterfalls. Following your hike, a hot lunch will be served near the park gate. After lunch, take some time to relax before returning to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and an overnight, reflecting on the day’s memorable adventures in the heart of nature.

Mikumi National Park
Your full day safari in Mikumi National Park promises a day of adventure and discovery, beginning with an early breakfast at your lodge. With the sun rising, embark on a game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, from open savannah to wooded hills. Keep your eyes peeled for a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions, as well as a plethora of bird species.
Pause for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park, surrounded by nature’s beauty. After lunch, continue your exploration, visiting different areas of the park to maximize your chances of wildlife sightings. Your experienced guide will share insights into the park’s ecosystem and wildlife behaviour, enhancing your safari experience.
As the day draws to a close, enjoy a sundowner drink against the backdrop of a stunning African sunset, a fitting end to a memorable day. Return to your lodge in the evening, where a delicious dinner awaits, followed by a restful night’s sleep, serenaded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Mikumi National Park to Saadani National Park
Following an early breakfast, commencing your Tanzania safari adventure. As you venture into the park, keep your eyes peeled for a variety of wildlife, including large herds of antelopes, buffalo, elephants, and more, against the backdrop of the park’s picturesque landscapes.
Your game drive will continue until approximately 12:15 PM, at which point you will depart for Saadani National Park. Upon arrival, settle in at your accommodation, located along the beach, where you will enjoy a delightful dinner and overnight stay. Relax and unwind in this serene coastal setting, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Indian Ocean.

Mikumi National Park to Saadani National Park
Following breakfast, embark on a captivating game drive before proceeding to the boat for a scenic river cruise. This leisurely cruise allows you to explore the diverse wildlife and natural beauty along the riverbanks, including sightings of crocodiles, hippos, and various other animals in their natural habitat.
After the river cruise, continue your journey to Dar es Salaam via Bagamoyo. Enjoy a delicious lunch en route, and upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, our driver will transfer you directly to your hotel. Alternatively, opt to be transferred to the ferry terminal, where you can catch an evening boat to Zanzibar, beginning the next chapter of your East African adventure.
